Alila Villas Uluwatu
Welcome to the luxury of flawless perfection, an exceptional villa resort to completely relax far away from the mass-tourism of Bali. The picture-perfect place of Alila Villas Uluwatu is hidden in the most Southern point of Bali, near the famous surf spots Uluwatu and Padang Padang, and is built on top of a limestone cliff overlooking the Indian Ocean.
Alila Villas Uluwatu in Bali ticks all the boxes: a personal butler, stunning view, heavenly spa, 2 excellent hotel restaurants, zen-like luxury villas and a gorgeous, avant-garde design. Still not enough? The sexy pool with a view is extremely chill. Feeling active? The gym as well as daily morning yoga lessons keep you in shape. Alila Villas Uluwatu has no beach, but the nearby Karma Beach Bali and Finn’s Beach Club are ultra-relax & hip.
Attracting design conscious hedonists & luxury lovers from around the world, this peaceful paradise of seaside serenity is our favorite place to stay in Bali.
Alila Villas Uluwatu, from the Singapore based Alila Hotels & Resorts, is designed by the award-winning Singapore architectural firm, WOHA, which has built a global reputation for innovative design for projects in tropical environments. Eco luxury does not get any better than this. Alila Villas Uluwatu’s most striking feature is the overhanging cliff-side sunset-cabana. We were fully inspired by the use of materials, colors and the selection of Balinese art.
Built with respect for the natural environment, Alila Uluwatu’s modern cleverly designed villas are the ultimate place to stay in style and luxury. The five star pool villas are all about private space, incredible comfort and view. Alila’s set of designer dens pays tribute to local materials (bamboo, rattan, stone, volcanic rock), and also to Balinese culture, to create an open-plan, indoor-outdoor style of architecture. Choose to stay in a one-bedroom pool or three-bedroom pool villa.
This designer hideaway in Bali has two excellent restaurants: Cire and The Warung. Warung serves authentic Indonesian and Balinese cuisine, while Cire provides a contemporary Western cuisine. The chef of both restaurants is from Dutch origin. Ask the chef if you can join him to the local market, after which you can prepare a delicious lunch together. He is a very passionate person. The food at both restaurants is a culinary masterpiece. Try the rice table at Alila Villas Uluwatu’s Indonesian restaurant or the melon gazpacho from Cire.
While the rest is chilling by the pool or enjoying the privacy of their exclusive villas, you can hit the Alila Spa for a pampering spa treatment. Pure bliss!
