Whether you want sightseeing or sun-lounger (siësta), barefoot or bling, fiesta or foodie haunts, party or pureness, spas or shopping, calmness or company, the Mediterranean paradise of Ibiza offers something for everyone.

Home to spectacular countryside and stunning coastline with numerous idyllic bays, La Isla Ibiza in Spain is one of the best holiday destinations in the world.

Looking for some quietness on the Balearic Island of Ibiza? Positioned between the towns of San Miguel De Balansat and Santa Gertrudis and only minutes away from some of the best beaches in Ibiza, Ca Na Xica Hotel & Spa beckons. This tranquil treasure in the rural and relaxed Ibicencan countryside provides sun-soaked sophistication, a unique stop-the-clock vibe and a slice of boutique-luxe peace. Whether you want to hide away in your suite, lounge by the Instagrammable pool or explore Ibiza’s beautiful beaches, authentic eateries, hippie markets, cool beach clubs and trendy boutique stores, Ca Na Xica Hotel & Spa is the ultimate relaxing base. It offers both the facilities and services of a luxury hotel as well as the privacy of a secluded retreat. No wonder Ca Na Xica Hotel & Spa is one of Ibiza’s tip-top hotels.

Surrounded by nature, with thousand-year-old olive trees and fruit trees, this oasis of calm is a blend of old-world elegance, Ibiza island-style and contemporary design. Earlier this year (2015), the Spanish owners completed the upgrade and extension of their boutique stay. They added 14 Premier Suites, placed in wonderful and spacious units, a Mediterranean restaurant, spa and lounge bar. The new part is exquisitely good-looking with a fresh feel, while the traditional part including the reception area and the suites in the main country house and different annexed buildings needs a refresh. It’s a slight shame that they forgot to redecorate this part. The key feature of Ca Na Xica is the impressively large swimming pool, and the whole hotel seems to be designed around it. Ca Na Xica’s magnificent setting invites laid-back island living and a sense of openness is the dominant architectural and design theme.

The Suites & Superior Suites are traditionally designed with yellow walls and hardwood French doors leading to private terraces. Bringing fresh life to Ibiza’s landscapes, the spacious Premier Suites – our favorite room choice – cater brilliantly for luxury travelers seeking a modern yet timeless suite in Ibiza. Wood and earth tones take care of the countryside aspect, while urban comforts and contemporary furnishings convey the other face of Ca Na Xica – a stylish boutique-luxe hotel in Ibiza. We love the shady decks for snoozing and bathrooms with Italian Mutina tiles. You won’t be disappointed.

Feeling hungry? Ca Na Xica’s power breakfast is really extensive, tasty and fresh. Waiters serve great dishes & drinks by the pool during the day – the Iberic ham & leek croquettes and Ca Na Xica Burger are a must-try –, while in the evenings the chef prepares Mediterranean culinary delights. Other option: go to the nearby finca-style Aubergine Restaurant serving organic good food in a true Ibiza garden setting.

The spa area includes an outdoor Jacuzzi, sauna, hammam, cold water basin, sensations shower, heated hammocks and therapeutic, massage and beauty area. Any downsides? There’s no gym and the prices of the Ca Na Xica spa are ridiculously high, and you have to pay 25 EUR per person for spa access if you’re not staying in a Premier Suite.

Days are filled with discovering the wonders of Ibiza, getting a tan, going for massages, eating, drinking, and relaxing – rewind and repeat. Sounds like a perfect stay in Ibiza?
