Palais Jad Mahal Restaurant
Like its neighbour Le Comptoir Darna, Palais Jad Mahal multitasks with providing a fabulous environment for pre- or post-dinner drinks and dining in style. The crowd is a mix of expats, good-looking locals and stylish tourists.
This colourful venue in Hivernage dazzles with its dark décor and amazing entertainment, but the food is unfortunately less impressive. Palais Jad Mahal looks more Indian than Moroccan, yet the fantastic belly dancers guarantee a Marrakech vibe. Sip cocktails during sunset on the cool rooftop terrace, order Asian or Moroccan food in the striking restaurant and just soak up the atmosphere.
If you overdo it on the food, dance it off downstairs in the Silver Club or check out Palais Jad Mahal’s bar with live music, but be aware to spend lots of Dirhams here.
